Welcome to my blogsite!

I'm a photographer based in Raymond AB and I love
fun couples, seniors, and families.

I will be going on maternity leave at the beginning of October, but am still booking weddings/shoots for this September and the spring/summer of 2012.

Have a look around and don't be afraid to leave a comment or two. :)

Details & Investment

Sessions take place in outdoor locations; you can pick or I can - it's up to you! Ideally we'll move to a few different locations. I'll talk a lot, and you might laugh at me, which is actually okay, because I'll be able to capture smiles and natural looking faces!

Your proofs will be available in an online gallery within a couple of weeks of your session. Watch your email for a link! You will choose up to 20 of your favorite images, and I will edit those images, then mail you a disc with the high-res edited files (including some black and white), or you can pick it up at my home office, where you can talk to me about professional prints. If you get your disc via mail, you can also order professional prints - they are worth the investment! :) Your images will be ready approximately 2-3 weeks after you've chosen them.

For pricing, please contact me via email: kinsey@kinseyholtphotography.com, or by using the Contact Me link above.

Sessions start at $200.
Family Sessions are $250.

"What do I Wear?"

Consider what you would like to do with the photos. If you are looking for an enlargement to place above the couch, consider the decor of the room and consider coordinating the colors of your clothing/style of the shoot so the finished portrait will fit in.

Let me know before the shoot if you have any specific ideas of what you'd like to do with your pictures.  If you're not sure, just tell me and we'll shoot a variety! I want to make sure you end up with photos you love and can use.

Some ideas:

-Your session should reflect you! Wear or bring something that really captures your personality.
-Layers, texture, and bright, solid colors photograph really well.
-Clothes that are in the same color scheme, but not all the same exact color - you'll look coordinated but not stuffy
-Accessories and props - particularly with kids and individual portrait sessions. Lollipops, balloons, balls, bikes, umbrellas, tutus, pets, wagons, etc. If you're not sure if it will look good in a picture, bring it and we'll try it for a few - you never know! Bring a bunch and we can play.
-Individuals and couples: a good mix of jeans, casual, and dress. My shoots include unlimited wardrobe changes, so if you can't decide between outfits, bring 'em all!
