"Getting ready"

I love the mornings on wedding days. I love getting to spend time with the bride and the women closest to her while they get ready - you see the friendships, the closeness between mom and daughter....so much love and excitement and anticipation. I just love weddings.

Tip for brides: To get the best possible results from your "getting ready" photos, get ready by a window, or in a room with lots of windows, and face the light (see the photo below where she puts on her earrings - my favorite). Also, put your dress on near a window. Hotel rooms or rooms in houses are often dark (darker than you think since your eyes adjust), so utilizing natural window light will help make for fantastic photos.

Fall Family Mini Sessions

**Edited to Add** Due to the size of Raymond, I will take bookings in Lethbridge for the mini-sessions. I don't want to run out of locations! :)

The dates are set! For three days, I will be offering 'mini' sessions. Perfect for those who don't need tons of images, don't want to spend a lot of time to get that Christmas Card photo, or want different "back-to-school" photos than the school photos. Sessions are open for families, just the kids, couples, or individuals.

These mini sessions won't be offered again this year - book your spot early!

Dyck Family | Family

Isn't this the cutest family? It was wet everywhere and cold out but you can't tell from the smiles! This little guy was so good and is so cute.

Coon Family | Family

 Isn't this just the cutest family?! I first met these cute little boys at their Uncle Jordan's wedding. The middle guy was sitting on his mom's lap peeking out at me while I shot the ceremony crouched beside him. It was fun to get to see their different personalities and just watch this family have fun together. I would love to be as cute of a mom as Lindsay is! Mom and Dad were so easy-going and you can tell they just love these little guys to death - thanks for hanging out with me! :)

Fall Sessions & Maternity Leave

I've had lots of inquiries lately about when I'll be stopping before the baby comes. I'll definitely be shooting all of September, and possibly into October.
